The caster creates a prison that seals a target inside of a pocket dimension. The target creature receives a single Constitution Save against the Spell DC otherwise, it is trapped inside the dimension. The creature inside the pocket dimension does not age or experience thirst or hunger but instead is stuck inside unable to leave regardless of how much time has passed outside of the pocket dimension. What the dimension looks, sounds, and smells like is up to the caster however, the target is incapable of moving inside the pocket dimension and instead can only view the scenery or have the false impression the are walking endlessly in a never ending scene.
The amount of MC required to seal a target depends on the target’s size but more MC can be put into the spell to increase the DC. To break free, the target must either Nullify the prison or solve any puzzle the caster may have left to get out with. Otherwise, the target must wait for the spell to end, for someone else to Nullify the spell, or for the permanent rune used to seal the target to be ruined. If a pocket dimension is created within another pocket dimension, or if two pocket dimensions are forced to merge, the result is a void in space-time being created and sucking in anything within 10 feet to be trapped in the timeless spaceless void as exiting through the portal would be impossible.
