The caster creates a bear trap made of Mana that grapples any target that steps into it taking 1 SD of damage per 2 MC used to create the trap. The DC to get free from the trap is equal to the Spell DC. The grappled target cannot move from the space the trap is in until they either break free or the spell ends. The trap provide additional effects if the caster has a Mana Affinity or Emotion Affinity.

  • Fire- The trap deals fire damage and provides the Burned condition while grappled.
  • Earth – The trap deals earth damage and has a hardness level of Very Hard.
  • Water – The trap deals water damage and provides the Soaked condition while grappled.
  • Air – The trap deals air damage and provides the Prone condition while grappled.
  • Electricity – The trap deals shock damage and provides the Stunned condition while grappled.
  • Cold – The trap deals cold damage and provides the Chilled condition while grappled.
  • Acid – The trap deals acid damage and provides the Burned condition while grappled.
  • Light – The trap deals light damage and provides the Brightened condition while grappled.
  • Shadow – The trap deals shadow damage and provides partial concealment while grappled.
  • Ethereal – The trap deals ethereal damage and provides the Prone condition to ethereal targets while grappled.
  • Divine – The trap deals divine damage and gives the Blighted condition while grappled.
  • Psychic – The trap deals psychic damage and provides the Shaken condition while grappled.
  • Qi – The trap deals qi damage and provides the Nauseated condition while grappled.
  • Life – The trap heals the target’s HP instead of damage and provides the Stabilize condition while grappled.
  • Death – The trap deals death damage and provides the Decayed condition while grappled.
  • Time – The trap deals time damage and provides the Fatigued condition while grappled.
  • Gravity – The trap deals gravity damage and provides the Encumbered condition while grappled.
  • Null – The trap deals damage to the target’s MP instead of HP and Nullifies any spell, rune, or magic item whose Spell DC is less than the MC used in the spell while grappled.
  • Joy – The trap deals joy damage and provides a +1 bonus per 1 MC used to Empathy Save for 1 round per 1 additional MC used while grapped
  • Sorrow – The trap deals sorrow damage and provides the Flat Footed condition while grappled.
  • Fear – The trap deals fear damage and provides the Frightened condition while grappled.
  • Anger – The trap deals anger damage and provides the Enraged condition while grappled.
  • Love –The trap deals love damage and makes the target Favorable towards the caster while grappled.
  • Hate –The trap deals hate damage and makes the target Unfavorable towards the caster while grappled.
  • Neutral – The trap deals neutral damage and provides the Tranquil condition while grappled.
