The caster attempts to possess a target creature or object. In doing so, the caster becomes helpless while in a trance. This is a mind-affecting effect and the target creature receives a Sanity Save against the Spell DC. If successful, they are immune to the spell from the same source for 24 hours. If they fail, they become unconscious as if in a deep sleep as the caster takes control of their body. However, the caster does not have access to any memories of the creature and only gains temporary control over their body. If the caster possesses an object, they can only move if the object has legs or arms or mechanics to move with such as a crane arm or a suit of armor. Otherwise, the cast cannot perform any actions. The amount of MC required to cast this spell depends on the size of the target being possessed.
