Quicksand

The caster turns an area of ground into quicksand that begins sinking everything in its range. The ground must be natural earth such as dirt, mud, or sand and cannot be used on solid stone unless soft ground is below it. All targets submerge entirely regardless of their size up to 5 feet between the target and surface at a rate of 5 feet per round. If the quicksand leads to an underground cavern then the targets fall from the ceiling of the cave.
The spell affects an area of 1 foot per MC used. Once the target is in the area, they must attempt an Escape Artist check against the Spell DC to get out otherwise, they lose all move actions. If an adjacent space is unaffected by the spell then they can attempt a Dexterity Check instead otherwise, they must attempt the Escape Artist check. Targets can also attempt to burrow with their Burrow Speed with a successful Strength Check against the DC to dig out even if submerged. While submerged, creatures begin to suffocate after one round. Once the spell ends, targets must naturally dig their way out of the ground.
