The target creature has its soul essence stolen at death. Their life essence is transferred into a chosen vessel caster possesses. The chosen vessel can be any mundane or magical item the caster is in possession of including weapons, armor, lanterns, lamps, jewelry, clothing, furniture, or any other inanimate object. The spell must be cast on the target the same round the target died and otherwise fails.
The souls can then be used to either heal, regain mana, cast spells, charge runes, or avoid death. The amount of MC required to steal a soul depends on their mass which also determines the amount of essences that are captured. The soul essence remains stored in the object until either used or until the object used is broken.
