Tengu

Tengu are humanoid avian creatures that resemble large birds of various types. Their bodies are covered in feathers and their legs are talons. Their arms are wings that have hand-like appendages adapted to holding objects and they have a beak for a mouth. Different tengu tribes resemble different kinds of birds including owls, hawks, eagles, parrots, swans, ducks, and more. The tengu are largely reclusive and prefer to live in the mountains or high up places where they build their nests in small, close-knit communities of their own tribes.
